Commenting policies
I am happy to receive comments from people who can add to the discussion on my site. In the interests of keeping this space from becoming a bully pulpit for right-wing trolls, I have restrictions on commenting; these are subject to change at any time.
- Outside of the nonviolence movement and some pro-life feminists, there’s not much that’s genuinely pro-life out there. Because the anti-choice community has rendered the phrase “pro-life” ethically meaningless, any comments including the words “pro-life” that do not refer to people or policies that actually ARE pro-life will be redacted to read “anti-choice,” a more accurate descriptor.
- All comments are moderated. Because of this, there may sometimes be a delay before your comment appears.
- Comments attempting to derail a topic will not be published.
- Links to anti-choice websites which masquerade as help for women who have had abortions will be removed from comments.
- Personal attacks by idiots will not be published. This is not censorship. It is keeping graffiti out of my living room. This is my site, not yours.
