Defiant piloting
This is old news, but a couple weeks ago, a tug pushed a barge into a pylon on a Columbia River bridge. That, of course, falls into the whatever category, since no significant damage was done and no one was injured. However, I can’t get it out of my mind because of the name of the tug boat. “Defiance.” Much laughter has revolved around that incident chez In Medias Res.
