Humor and class, or why I hate puns
Oh, for the simpler days when you could just say, “Look, it’s carnivalesque! Look at how low discourse and the verbally overwraught interpenetrate and coexist in the the polyphonic expression of comedy!” Because of course that’s something we would say in normal conversation.
