It has been tiring lately. I’ve been working hard, deep in a book project, turning thirty, traveling around, attempting to do a cleanse/detox diet, realizing I am in love and trying to undo that, doing wedding-related things for my sister…it has been busy.

Two things I’m mad about today
This. Calling women you don’t know “sweetie” is sexist, demeaning, infantilizing, and regressive. Shame on Obama. No shit is it a “bad habit.”
This. McCain’s new faux-green image. It’s smart, but it’s also a lie.
