"they" = PP staff. In my ideal pro-choice narrative for myself, I would have perfect birth control, only be pregnant by choice, and never need to choose an abortion. It's something I had thought about before, in an abstract way, but having it actually happen was a shock. Yep, bingo. “they” = PP staff.
